i have to say spider... cause that's what i just did... a pair of pastels and a nice spider to go with them. (plus some 100% het pieds to round things out)

Id go with the spider. Thats what i just ordered. Ill be picking up sometime next month with a male yellow belly. The spider will be going with my male pastel. Yellow belly will be going with some normals and maybe a het albino female. Ive read that some of the cinnys when bred to another to try and get the super cinnys. Theres some that have came out of eggs with deformed heads or noses. Not sure that might be worth checking into. I think i also heard something about spiders when they first showed up too. Kinked spines and acting funny like brain damage or something. Again might be something you want to check into more before you decide on what to get. Might not be that big of a deal. If you could buy male and female unrelated pair. Breeding back to mom or dad might not be the best thing to do. With snakes that are know for having some defects. But ive only been keeping balls since 92. Started breeding in 03. Im sure there is someone out there that has worked with both spiders and cinnys and knows more about them than me. Just something to check on.

If you haven't made your mind up yet, the Super Pastel x Mojave is a wicked looking snake IMO.
But it all comes down to preference and the goals you want to achieve with your projects. Good luck...I'm torn b/w spider and mojave for my next pick up as well :confused:

Man, as soon as I have the money saved up, I'll be buying myself a nice, light gold reduced spider girl for my pastel apollo.. then maybe a few years later a spider het xanthic male, and a het xanthic female to make me some xanthic bee's, and my dream, the super xanthic bees!!! *drools*

I picked the spider because bee's are my personal favorite base designer morph.
I've had a similar dilema as of late. I've been trying to decide a 2nd co-dom male to go with along with a spider male. I Finally decided on a cinnamon after seeing the pics of the "Miracle" pewter in the other thread. I'm picking up 2 female pastels, so im going to try to make pewters and bees.

As much as I love spiders and bees, I have to vote Cinny. Pewters are HOT. Hey, maybe you can talk him into a het Clown male too, just think of all the morphs not around yet with them in the mix!

Ughh.... That is what is SO hard. Pewters ARE hot. So are bees. So are spiders just as a base morph. Tough decisions! :D
