I'm in Plano, a suburb of Dallas. Known for our soccer moms in minivans. I'm not one of those :cool:

I'm from lees summit. A suburb of Kansas City MO.

Born and raised in WV, went to college in upstate NY, married in AR, lived in east TX and Houston, and now in Tulsa, OK for the last five years. Upstate NY remains my favorite place, with Houston being my worst experience. Oklahoma is....kinda conservative middle America. I've met some wonderful people here, but it's definitely a different culture than I'm accustomed to. Rodeos, cowboys, and proud xenophobia. I'm tired of dumbing down my vocabulary to communicate.

I know where that is! I go to a sci-fi convention near there every November. Yes, I'm a geek. :-P

Where is this sci-fi convention at? I haven't heard of any around here. But then again I've fell out of the sci-fi circuit. Haha.

I was in enid ok last year. I'm not too familar with Oklahoma. That's the girlfriends deal. Is that near Tulsa?

I'm in Stillwater, OK for school now. I was born in CA and have lived in CO, MO, TN, OK, and my mom moved to AR just after I graduated high school.

And Enid is a few hours west of Tulsa.
