    I'm trying to translate your english but are you saying that you aren't even sure that they are herpstats, but they just look like them?

    I wouldn't go saying bad things about a product when you aren't even sure that's what you are using....

    my old restaurant used rancos in the walk in cooler. the ranco was outside my the door and the probe inside. i only worked there for 4 years but it never failed. the only reason i bought a johnson control over a ranco was beause they are smaller.

    i wish i could find the thread i read on another forum about a guy who had one of those and it failed, ended up cooking his $3,000 or so collection. he tried to talk to the company and they would have nothing to do with it.

    if you think you can just send it back and everything will be alright, i am afraid you are sadly mistaken. the risk in my opinion is not worth the reward (low cost).
