Not worried? Your husbandry is wrong, Ball Pythons are not to be housed together, people are telling you this because they want to help you. You need to seperate those snakes.

Look kiddo snakes are natural predators and predators don't show illness/stress often until it's far too late to do much about it. That's nature's way....sickly predators get themselves eaten. You aren't anywhere near experienced enough to know when they are in trouble. If you didn't know anything about ball pythons what possessed you to take on three of them! It's not a "good deal" for the snakes at this point.

How long are you going to be away from home? Is it worth it to drag these three snakes with you? Do you have proper and seperate enclosures ready for them at your destination?

The simple fact of the matter is these are snakes, not puppies. They can't be treated like social mammals. They need specific and very stable and appropriate housing. If you are too stubborn to see this and take the advice of snake keepers with years more experience than you have, then you probably need to re-think why you have these three snakes in the first place. We are all learning, we learn every day around here and most of us are smart enough to take solid advice based on experience and learn from that.

Listen dude, Please take this as it is, I am not here to attack you. But why is it so Important to keep these two in the same cage? If you do not have room for three enclosures then why do you need three snakes? You wouldnt deny them water because you dont like the look of it in the cage would you? Then why deny them peace and secruity that comes from seperate enclosures? Please do the right thing for your snakes, follow the advice given here. Before I came here my BP wasnt a consistant eater. Just by trolling the boards and making some adjustments that I got from here, My boy always eats on friday..... ALWAYS! So why not do whats best for the snakes? The people that said you can keep two snakes together probably dont have as much exprience as many of the people here.

As far as you question, Your snake is going to be VERY defencesive. If the other one comes near it there is a likely chance that it will get bit and who knows what else may follow from that.

    Do the right thing.

I am going to state what i did before. Seperate your snakes!! Think of it this way then you have another tank to decorate with fancy little logs and branches and what not. I say this cus it does seem like you are housing them just for display purposes. if you want i would buy one of them off of you man. I am looking for another female anyways. I understand the urge to have more than one snake because after all you can't have just one. lol. But please im begging you seperate tham and you will see for yourself that they will be much happier. And I find it rather rude that you come on here and ask for advice and throw it back in the faces of the people just trying to help.

you know, you could always buy a 28 qt tub from walmart for $6 to house them in. If you're worried about how much this is going to cost you, you could always do the tub method. I have my first BP in a 20g long tank, and my male pastel in a tub, and I'm switching them both to tub racks as soon as it comes in the mail.

    -edit-
When the females become adults, they'll need to be moved into a 41qt tub, but if the male stays at a smaller size, he should do well in a 32 qt tub.

It really depends on the growth of your snakes. There's another thred that's had this same info mentioned,

you should upgrade the size of your tanks if the tank is shorter than 2/3's of the snake's length.
