    only ebony i have ever seen...cool...but so many other morphs look better to me at least...maybe that is why not a ton of people are trying to create them. Plus it looks alot like a coffee ball. http://ballpython.com/morph.php?morph=coffee

    I think the reason is that there are at least two kinds of granites, geneticly speaking.
    Most granites (and this is my own theory) are caused by the action of more than one gene (poly genetic). I think more trades are caused by poly genetic actions (banded, reduced pattern, non-genetic striped and black back for example).
    The so called "genetic granites" are the ones giving the ebonies, not the polygenetic granites. As you all know, there are not so many truly "genetic granites" (the granite caused by just one gene). I think you can put those in the same group as the Genetic striped etc. homozygote recessive animals.
