Got to meet Shannon (Tweets_4611), Kasi (Purrrfect9), and Casey and Talisa (sp?) (ReptileEmpire).
There were SEVERAL snakes that I REALLY wanted to bring home, but alas, I came home empty-handed. :(

It was a lot of fun! And Man did Sprockets spider look HOT! I wanted to take him home so bad. And after seeing pinstripes in person, i do believe that I like them as well! And Bob Clark's table was pretty neat, and seeing some of those eggs hatching was simply amazing! Oh, and I do believe that there is now a new special place in my heart for RTB. Man I need to move out into my own house ASAP! lol

That show was neat!! It's always fun to put faces to names, and there were alot of neat snakes there too. ^_^ One of those venders was so cruel!! hehe He handed me the little mojave guy I was drooling over and told me that the little man wanted to go home with me!! It took all of my will power to hand him back :P Onery thing...tempting me like that. haha And we are going to definately find a landlord that allows snakes, b/c now that I have Kasi wanting a RTB too, well....with both of us, we may get in trouble otherwise!! haha (Balls are a bit easier to hide...) Anyways, it was good to meet everyone, and the show was a blast! made for a good day ^_^

Haha, I told Kasi that if I had been looking for a snake, or had the money to get one, I would have left there with her!! :D Little Miss 'Tude! haha

The ones with attitude are always the best! My very first BP would strike when I opened her cage, she struck so hard her whole body would come off the floor of the cage. It looked like she was trying to hop out. She's huge and as docile as a puppy now.
You guys should have came back out Sunday, you could have seen my new baby boy. I picked up a fireball sunday morning, and as if that didn't get me in enough trouble with my wife, Bob convinced me to come by his shop to look at an older female fire that he has. So I may end up with that one later this week if I am still married. ;) I'll try to get some pictures up tonight.
Oh, and I also got a Salmon Het-Albino RTB female, I'll try to get some pictures up of her too.

Oh bummer! You'll have to put up the pictures ^_^ We were looking at some of the fires that Davey Pythons had.....I hadn't ever seen one in person. Pretty neat little snake :P If I had come out on Sunday I probably would have left with something, and then my mom would have killed me...I had to stay away for my heaths sake ;)
And granted, I got tagged by one of the smallest girls there it seems like :D She was only about 2 months old I think he said haha But she was a cute little thing!! ^_^

Yup, I pick puppies based on which one is the friendliest. I pick snakes based on which has the "baddest" attitude! (not necessarily true, I generally pick the purtiest, but the bad attitude is a real bonus!)
On the other hand, I never worry about getting bitten by my snakes when they're off feed. Its when they start eating again that you have to watch out! I had one lunge at me the other night that I swear went 2/3 of her body length if not more!
Congrats on the fire(s), Casey! Hope you're still married! Surely she'll come around when she sees that black eyed lucie hatching out! How big/old is the big one?

So far so good! Still married, I have to say I was pretty shocked when I talked to her about it and she was okay with it. I would love to get the Black eyed lucy, but I am really trying for a fire-pewter cross. I posted pictures in the BP pictures forum. BTW, I checked out your pied you were telling me about at the show, he is awesome! I love the low whites, the pattern is one of my favorite things about them.

Re: Oklahoma City Reptile Show - June 16th & 17th
Shannon and I went to a smaller reptile show up in Broken Arrow, and we saw our first pied there. I wasn't too impressed because the white on him/her was really dirty looking, and it had stuck shed and everything on him. But after seeing some at the show this weekend, I really do like them! They're so pretty when they're clean ^_^
