I was so happy when that movie FINALLY ended.

exactly! you know it's ridiculous when the entire movie theatre is laughing at scenes that arent supposed to be comedic. which is exactly what happened when i went.

"Spider-Man 3 set a half-dozen box-office records this weekend, including biggest debut with $148 million, according to studio estimates from Nielsen EDI. The opening handily reclaimed several benchmarks set last year by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, including biggest opening day and most single-day ticket sales."

I guess someone liked it. :D

As far as all the complaints about the love story... That's part of what makes comic books so romantic to me.. A conflicted hero that endures the burden of having to save the world and keep his life and relationships together. It's why I love Hellboy. It's why I love Spiderman. That's just me. :)

thats exactly what me and my friends said!!

hahaha i forgot to mention this. me and some friends dared one of our comedian friends to say "ok guys this is the one where he 'nails' mary jane" right when the movie started.lol that would've been so hilarious but he backed out at the last second.

Anyone else sick of Spiderman? I can't bring myself to see it. I have given up caring. Tobey Maguire is a weak actor and I think they should have cut their losses after the first movie (I didn't like the second).

I just got out of it. Don't waste your time with SM3. I LOVED the first two, but this one was way too drawn out as a crappy love story with not enough real action.

What I find funny is the people that liked the movie are using the facts to back up the fact that it was a "good movie" when in fact everyone I talked to in person thought it was crap. See, heres the thing, people go to the theater for 2 reasons, they want to see it on a screen the size of their house, and hype. If a movie has no advertisement and know one has heard of it, then it wont even get noticed at the box office. However, such as spidey three, you have tons of hype, 2 movies that were before it that IMO were badass, and everyone was all stoked to see it. Yes, it broke box office records, yes it grossed $177 Million more then the $258 Million budget, but heres the thing, when do you pay for a Movie?

Before you go in? Or after?

This may seem like a dumb question, but think about it for a second. How many of you go out to eat and have a crappy server who almost ruins your night single handily? Now, did you give them a good tip, or a tip at all? Now lets relate this to the movie, how many of us would of left a tip, or paid at all after seeing this movie? You have to pay full price before you can find out if you got got a good server, or one that needs to find a new job. Which is why it broke every box office record out there, not because it was a good movie, but because of two factors, big screen, and hype.

Spiderman 3 was ok, not nearly as good as 2 and not even close to as good as 1. Venow was WAY overplayed and lost it for me. I hope they have Carnage in the 4th, but we'll see. *pst* I'm a spiderman freak from childhood and I'm really picky about that kind of stuff...lol
