Rich at Reptile Basics...

I've yet to buy off him, except for at shows, but everyone I know gets all their supplies from him and swears by him. Next round of supplies I get will definitely be coming from him.

I LOVE ordering from Rich. Shipping is just so quick and everything is always packaged neatly. I have a habit of ordering on Thursday night, package ships out on Friday and it gets here the following Wednesday.

He's real quick with the replies too. I just emailed him about an order earlier today. I went to wal mart, came back and there's my answer. I only have one BP now, but whenever the time comes for me to upgrade and go with racks, Im definitely considering Reptile Basics first.

I've been meaning to add to this for awhile now. I placed an order with him a few weeks ago for some flexwatt and other misc odds n' ends. He called me at home to discuss the flexwatt and make sure he understood what I was asking for (separate small pieces each wired individually) and to make sure there might not be a less expensive way to achieve the same effect.


We got it all worked out...understood each other perfectly...and within 48 hours, I had my box of goodies.

Most excellent service and I would not hesitate to do business with him again, as well as recommend him to my friends. :)

I agree with everyone, he is AWESOME! I ordered my Johnson and Ultratherm pad recently and called him first to clarify if I should get the pad or flexwatt. When I told him it was for a cage I'm building, he listened to my plans and gave me advice on how to improve them, it was great! A few hours later, I needed something clarified and called back. He instantly remembered me and gave great clear instructions on how to install the pad in the cage. I've never dealt with someone so attentive before.
Oh, and when I told him that it was the opinions on this forum of him that led me to order from him, he was very modest. :D

i have never bought from Rich, i have heard nothing but great things about him not only hear but from everywhere i go. currently have 2 five slot racks that are filled up and am going to need some racks for larger balls and hatchlings soon and will be calling Rich

I was looking over the RB page and saw the racks and loved the prices and the free shipping he offers. I have not heard of reptile basics before and have no idea who he is or what his products are like, after reading this thread, I will def most likely be getting my next two racks from him. Thanks for posting all your alls experiences for people like me who are looking to get info on a supplier they know nothing about.

I'm curious though, Rich know this thread exist?
