Wouldn't the faded head on these make them easier to pic out a true het from a group of 66% hets? I guess what I am asking is wouldn't you be able to pic out the pastels that are het ghost as compared to pastels that are possible het ghost?

I think its along the same lines as the so called 'marker thing' in het pieds....something you notice more often in the hets....but also see randomly in normals now and then...could have something to do with the line breeding, could have something to do with the gene....you can't really make the call for certain....but if it makes you feel better to select the poss hets with the marker or different look to them, go for it!
