    I insulated my tub with the insulation I mentioned secured down with duct tape; on the lid, bottom, and two sides of the tubes, the other sides with my holes i left alone. My abient temps are usually around 80-82. Since the tube is insulated from the room temps it keeps the tub nice and toasty. Although my room never gets below 68
