Most people when breeding feed females smaller food. I know when I've got ball pythons breeding I only offer small rats instead of the regular mediums. just my :2cent:.

That's where I'm confused. I've read that gravid females won't eat at all, won't eat more than one prey item, some eat some don't, to stop feeding them, to offer smaller sizes, let them eat if they keep eating, it's good if they keep eating, it's bad when they keep eating, etc. I'm confused!
Good luck with that female! Has she shed (Pre-Lay Shed) yet? If not, that might be why she's soaking. I've read (and seen) that they take a "pre-lay soak" right before their Pre-Lay Shed.

She should be going into shed anytime now; I am watching her daily like a hawk. \
My female that laid last year, ate right up until a week or so before laying (we actually didn't know she was cooking eggs; we bred her to our male but had the sexes mixed up, lol.)
