Geez Louise! I hope that for your snake's sake, you do some research.
What is the meaning of this?? "the female is the only one that will fit in the hide so what ever "
What about the poor male, who can't even thermoregulate? Where are you measuring 90-degree temps; inside the hide, the ambient air.. the cool side.. I am just going to stop now before I get more flustered. Please read a proper caging, husbandry, etc. if you ever want to be a good breeder or let alone, keeper, of these wonderful animals.

If you are not willing to do research (i.e. read a caresheet), how can anyone help you?

You know - kitty litter pans make great hides for adult ball pythons - just flip them over and cut out an entrance. It even fits in my 41 quart tub, so I'm not sure why you can't find something to fit in a 100 gallon tank?

What does your breeder friend suggest?

Yes and next month I will be receiving 2 BP from a very reputable breeder and they will be quarantined from the rest of my collection, like I do with any BP, regardless of whom I buy them from, and I am sure everyone here will tell you the same thing.

Now getting mad because of what you hear I do not understand that, when you asks questions you must be ready for the answers, some you might like some you might not but in the end all the recommendations are made for one good reason: The welfare of your BP.

all because we practice quarantining? When you only have 1 or 2 normals, you don't have much to lose. On the other hand, people here with dozens of snakes with some $1k+ snakes thrown in the mix, you have a lot to lose.

Insults are not necessary or tolerated and will most likely prevent the very people you've asked to help you to offer any further advice. :colbert:

Quarantine is a good husbandry practice, and I'm a little saddened to see that you didn't plan for the fact that you would be introducing a new animal to your collection and bring a second snake bag to transport her in, away from your male.

Wait wait, i've got a wonderful idea! Sell one of the snakes to someone who can properly take care of it, and use the $50 or so to invest in a couple good hides, and some more equipment, possibly a smaller tank. As far as the hides go, you'd actually be surprised what snakes can fit into to, the prefer it pretty tight, any pet store employee who knows anything about reptiles should be able to sell you a perfect hide for your adult python.

I'm still not letting go of this breeding issue. I just really don't think its the right time for you. One snake is a lot of responsibility, two is even more, and babies...well you get the picture.
