Re: What could it be?
THe "scars" don't have to look abnormal except for coloration you know. So.. once they finish healing completely, it is quite possible to have white spots, that look normal except for pigmention.
I severely doubt that it is a pied, as referanced above, they are very expensive and sought after.
It 'could' be some new morph, but in this day and age something with markings so striking that were not scarring would most likely have been snapped up by either the breeder, or the importer.
Looking forward to the pictures.

Probably scars ... but, it could be a "bullseye" ... it's an abbarent trait that's been around for a lot of years ... not genetic.

Yeah, well I KNEW it wasn't a pied...that was pretty obvious but yeah, hopefully this weekend I can go ahead and snap a picture of it. We have differen't schedules and whenever he's not working he's stunting his bike...so...we'll see...

K~
Steven I'd tend to agree here with Kara. I wish I had pics of the original fairly large white patch that Saoirse our W/C adult rescue had when we first got her. It was obviously an injury (well healed at the point we got the snake), perhaps from a snake hook, we'll never know. It was a quite large pure white patch, bordered in black scales, soft to the touch and not abnormal except for the pure whiteness of it.
It has over the last year gotten significantly smaller with healthy sheds though I think it will never quite disappear. I'll try to get a clear shot of what remains to show you.

Yeah, please do! I didn't know what it was or could be that's why I posted... It probably is a scar but Adam could be right as well about the "bullseye" part. IF it was a "Bullseye" It's too bad it's not genetic... Oh well... Yeah post a clear shot and I'll try to get one as well as soon as I can get together with him...
Thank you for all who replied to help me get a grasp of what it was...Much appreciated!:)
