A perfect example of a con artist using the system to her advantage.A freind of mine recently was divorced from his wife.It took him a year of putting up with having the Sheriff come to his home at midnite and forcefull taking his guns.She filed a false report saying he was sitting across from her trailer waiting to shoot her(lie #1).He does not have a CAR or access to one.Long story shorter he applied for public assistance(medical card) and was told he was behind in his child support(lie #2).He brought back receipts of EVERY payment towards the child support.Of course the case worker(also his exwifes case worker) was mad at this point.He also reported that she was living with a guy(boyfreind) that works for CATERPILLAR! Of course nothing ever happened to her but my freind has been harrased by the police,code inforcement jerks and numerouse freinds of hers because he reported her :mad: .Now the ( place your choice of word here) is getting FULL public aid,$400 child support plus her boyfreinds income :mad: and NOTHING has happened to her and never will.So even with the evidence in front of the state worker NOBODY cared enough to put a stop to her fraud actions.O by the way the State informed my freind to STOP filing false reports or he will be prosecuted:mad: .Gee i wonder when evidence became false info :mad: .

The only way to fight this type of abuse is to take lots of pictures and goto a TV station. You cannot fight the state by yourself! If a TV station thinks that they can get a sensational story that will give them a 10 minute story, your friend will see immediate results.

I see no reason a TV station would even care no more then the state does :confuzd: .The newspapers report yearly how much the teen pregnancies have grown yet the STATE still allows these people to lay up on Welfare checks and spit out kids like rabbits.They "made" a law in Illinois back a little that once your kid(kids) are in school you had 1yr to find a job or if you dont you will be dropped from the welfare system.It lasted 1 month and they removed it saying "it was a cruel act" forcing them to find work :mad: .Gee i wonder when work was a cruel act,my jobs in the past must have been a chain gang :mad: .

I've read through this, and I completely understand where folks are coming from, and agree with the outrage expressed against those who are essentially stealing resources from others who have a genuine need for them. The world is full of creeps....not just America. Every single country on the planet has its full share of jerks and losers and truly evil people. That's one market America has not cornered.
But for every creep, jerk, loser, and evilness out there....there are hundreds of good people who go out of their way to help others and who genuinely care about the plight of those less fortunate than themselves. There are those who work tirelessly and daily in shelters and soup kitchens. Whole families who give up their personal Thanksgivings and Christmases to help out in shelters on those special days. A man who gives away a priceless toy he won in a drawing to a little girl who wanted it far more than he did. A family that spends their Christmas gift budget not on themselves, but on children who would otherwise have no Christmas. Firemen and policemen who daily put their lives on the lines to help people who may never say "Thank you" or show any iota of appreciation for the sacrifices made for them. A fat, old lady trains her ass off to complete an endurance sport event just to raise money for children with Leukemia and other horrible cancers. Whole teams of people....thousands of them....every day training and running, cycling, swimming...to raise money to help people they've never met. A man who takes in a hitch-hiking girl he picked up off the highway...takes her home to his family and gives her a warm, safe place to stay until he can get her back home to her family.
Every day...individuals...groups...whole organizations...working their asses off and sometimes making the ultimate sacrifice...for no other reason than its the right thing to do and they care about people. Please don't forget that while the world is indeed full of the careless and the evil....it's also stuffed chock full of the selfless and good.
