how many people weight their snakes?

I weigh often... Once a month, or even more often... Especially around this time (breeding)...


I think when it comes to breeders, it is a necessity.

Those who don't care to breed I'm sure don't have as much motivation to know how much their snake weighs..

i weigh mine because i like to see their progress, It's like watching your child grow up :D

i don't weigh my snakes, mainly because i don't own a scale, but i do keep track of their feeding, and when they shed

I thought it was something that you were supposed to do

everytime I asked a question (which wasn't really much, mostly about 1 not eating) the first response out of most people (not here, I don't think ... somewhere else) was "how much does it weigh & how old is it?" oh & "what sex is it?" which I still don't know

I knew neither ...... but I did go out & get a scale yesterday

I keep track of their feeding & now their sheds ..... & now I guess their weights


I do know they're cool & I love em

I weigh all of my ball pythons until they reach over 5lbs as thats as high as my scale goes lol.I now have 2 females that make the scale scream ERROR :carrot: :carrot: :carrot:

Yeah, the only snake I do not weigh regularly is the black blood. When I took her into the vet a year ago she was 8 lbs. To weigh her I think I have go stand on a regular scale with her and then weigh myself without her :P

Hahaha, that is awesome. I'll have to do that with my Borneo.

I weigh all of my gang at least once a month.

I usually weigh out of curiousity.
