Go for it. Seems to be your passion :) I had some of the best times of my life being around reptiles ALL day long. You meet some really neat people that migrate there ;)

I babysat as a preteen; then worked for Tops Markets as a cashier and later deli and cheese shop worker from 1999 to '05.. I bought myself a leather jacket that I still wear! (this was around 2000.) I also bought my friend a car, since I had no license at the time and we could not hang out if she had no wheels!

I worked on a chicken farm. Saved enough to get a '65 Mustang Coupe. My dad helped me restore it. I left for the Army and my Mom totaled it while I was gone. I've been trying for the past 15 years trying to get another one. Thanks Mom!

I'm glad someone else finally said babysitting. I did this a lot, but only ever managed to spend my money on my little sisters.

My first real job was as a temp. I was basically a secretary, but I must have looked helpless since the male poplulation helped me out quite a bit. :wuv:

Well if we include non paying jobs then my first job ever was helping my farmer neighbor load his sale pigs and calves and helping my other neighbor muck out the stalls in their standardbred barn.

    :)

Who on earth would have to pay me to be around horses? :p

I forgot; i also used to help out at a family friends' horse stable; learned to ride there, as well as did general chores such as mucking, grooming, tack cleaning. Wasn't paid in dollars, but being around horses at that time, was worth much more than any money would have been.
