    yep its in the family Procyonidae (same as racoons)Another name for this animal is the hog-nosed coon.

    if im not mistaken, I believe you can also find these wild in the southwest us.

    i thought it was spelled koadimundi and i know they're from central and south america. not Japan.

    Cute.. I looked them up, and they seem to be one of those animals that would enjoy life in captivity; hopefully, people who get them know what they're getting into though!
    Nice BP in those pics too; cool back striping.
