I live in Baltimore City MD, right next to Parkville.

She is breathing better and I did not hear any wheezing when I had her out for a little bit before I let her soak for 45 minutes.

So far I don't have anyone willing to help me out here. I'm going to ask my friend tonight if he would mind coming over tomorrow and helping me out with her. If he says no I'm going to ask my mouse/rat dealer tomorrow if he can help me out since I know he's had snakes for over 8 years and knows what he is doing.

If that doesn't go I'm just going to have to man up and figure out a way to do it by myself since she does need these meds....

I asked my friend Chris if he could give Saharah the injections, since I know he works with and around snakes everyday. Of course he said yes! WOOHOO! One of the very few people that I 100% truly trust with my own life and well the lives of my snakes or other animals.

So I'll be taking a trip up to see him every other day. I really am going to try to get over this fear of needles!

I know I know. I'm trying to look at it that way, but brain and stomach are telling and making me do different things. I've had this problem since I was 12 and passed out at the doc's when I opened up my eyes and glanced over and saw the nurse taking blood. I'm fine if I close my eyes, but I can't be the one with my eyes closed trying to give a snake a injection!

Just got back from driving up to my friends house. I think I'm now dehydrated from the car right up and back from there. Had the heat on full blast the 40 minute drive up there and back. I think I might have lost a pound or two. LOL

Saharah was just as calm as could be. My friend babied her and she just sat on his leg while he gave her the injection. She hardly moved. So we have another session with him on Tuesday night and every 48 hours later till she is better. He also said he will give Dr. Gold a call and find out what strength the Baytril is and if she needs more then 5 treatments worth, then he will get some more from him work for her.

I swear he is the best, he goes out of his way for the creatures & for his friends! He is so passionate for snakes and such a great friend. One of a kind I swear, not many people out there like him and man am I so freaking thankful everyday to have met him by getting Sebastian from him!

Also I came home and threw a rat in there for her. I was hoping to get it on video.... I even had the camera all ready. That rat didn't hit the floor before it was dead! WOW!
