I produced that guy and had him for over a year and never saw any blood. Although I don't think I make a very attractive date for him :)

yea like I said I think it is a little weird and not really possible... but everything else is checking out perfect on him, so maybe that is why the vet thinks this or she probably felt like she had to give me a diagnosis and that was all she could come up with. I will continue monitoring him. :rolleye2:

    1. X-rays - look awesome
    2. he looks awesome - no signs of anything wrong
    3. Said he was an absolutely gorgeous normal
    4. Thinks that.... here's the part I don't understand... Thinks that a womans scent when in cycle is confusing him and the little blood discharge is sexual???

He has been trying to stick his spurs in me and it only happens when I am holding him.... Anyone else think this vet is way off????

O my god we are being over run by sex starved ball pythons:8: .I think we had a thread back a short time ago where the snake was trying to get "funky" with the persons arm or something lol.Sorry to be blunt here,i think your vet needs to stop smoking that wacky weed :P .I do not think its possible for a snake to get "fired up" because some women is cyclying:8: :8: ,now dogs do:P

OK Here is what Ralph Davis says about... since I am buying two new het albinos from him - I thought I would just see if he had an ideas...

"Looks like he just shed and his peens were still raw........males shed their peens too.........and they will be tender and raw afterwards."

    Wow,

I have never heard of the shedding peens:eek:

My male is shedding at the moment so in a day or so I shall be inspecting the vent of the shed skin with a fully engaged prurient curiosity :)

I know when my tarantula shed she sheds her sex organs and becomes virginal once more as thats the best way to sex them if you have access to a shed.

Are they noticeable on the shed skin? because if they are wouldn't this be used as sex determination?
