Well crap. Crap on a stick, no less. Especially as I recall countless e-mails back & forth regarding this animal's condition, over quite an extended period of time. Wow. This just takes the wind out of my sails a bit after knowing your struggle to bring this boa around. :(
Jamie, you tried everything you could. It's not as though this was one lost due to a lack of effort on the part of someone who actually gave a damn. YOU didn't fail this snake...and I know for a fact that you tried everything in your power to make his life a good one.
Sometimes that's what it all boils down to.

Thanks all for the well wishes. Sasha is in his final resting place under a lilac bush in my fiance's mother's garden. Its a little easier to deal with knowing I did all I could but it still sucks.

Awww Jamie.....I'm so sorry for your loss. Sasha seemd to be a great snake, and you gave him the best last years of his life than he could ever have hoped for. I was glad to have met him. :hug:
