Yeah, it was an old Nissan pickup; the "Honk if Parts Fall Off" type, lol. But it served us well through a few winters; only died when we rear-ended an old person that had stopped in the middle of the lane in a whiteout storm.. sad.

We should start a guitar thread too.. anyone know about older Gretsch models? I think I have one; has the label on the headstock but I wonder if it's a fake as I have never seen one like this before; f-holes, acoustic hollow body; I'll post a pic tomorrow!

I played a model very similar to that one, back when my friend was in a band; it was like playing butter.. really nice. But I do agree; test-drive any guitar before buying.

I deciced to hold out for a regular Rhoads, or King V. I played the guitar again, I need something with a Floyd Rose. It wouldn't stay in tune and I couldnt get an idea of what it would set up like with the huge strings it had on it. I still wouldn't mind a Kelly either. But with Jackson you are partially buying the name too. Sucks big time.

Yeah I'd like to see a pic of it. I work at a vintage guitar store and we deal with rare instruments. Ugh, we just got a HUGE shipment of 130+ vintage guitars and I have to ship out 65 of them starting tomorrow. Not gonna be fun.
