In other words....the BOI doesn't mean squat.

I've seen het albino pairs on www.kingsnake.com for as low as $350 but I would be concerned about buying them for that price. You are looking at $1000-1400 for a pair of het pieds like everyone else already said.

LOL ... were they right next to the ad where you could buy 100% het pieds and pay half now, half when you prove them out? ...

I was also looking for a pair of 100% het albinos and found around $500-600 on average but up to $900 on one ad. Het pieds were between $1000-2200 for 06 unrelated het pieds. But, what you could do(like me) is find a large het female and buy a small male and build it up by next season.

    Thank you everybody...for the information.

Yeah I'm definetly trying to figure out as much as I can. I think I may have to wait though. I might be buying a trio of balls this weekend.

I'm just looking for a more inexpensive way to produce solid morphs without buying the true morphs them selves. Want to start with hets...

    Genetic stripe? Yes. Spider ?No.

Spiders are a dominate gene. So no hets are produced.

You may want to study up alittle more before jumping into breeding. :2cent:

Well the attitude of TSE when I once inquired about one of their snakes was enough to put me off. TSE also had banners on quite a few sites so in that case I guess the person who said 'go with the banner breeders' would be wrong as well.
No matter who it is it's always 'Buyer Beware'. You can only do so much homework on a breeder.
    The BOI isn't perfect
