That would be awsome to see them sitting on a road. So it seems that where they are found they aren't necessarilly looking for the heat from the sunlight over the substrate or vice/versa. I know i have read about some species of herps, either rely more on radiating heat than conduction, and others perfer it the other way around.

I think that if you're an animal whos entire physiology is based on external temperatures and you needed to warm up, it wouldn't make much difference how you did it. ;)

Imagine two hours of amateur home video...done on an old camcorder without any fancy jiggle-reduction. It IS interesting to see exactly how BP's hide themselves in the wild and what methods are used to dig them up...but if you're the least bit prone to vertigo, it's extremely painful to watch.

You can get it for less than $10. Got my copy from Amazon used. I would recommend it. The fast-forward button will come in handy, but I would still recommend it...

I know that balls have a habit of looking for rodent borrowes in the wild to eat and then after dinner occupie their meals former home. Underground is much warmer than the surface. This is very true at night. The humidity tends to be a bit higher as well. I know this is a little of the topic of basking but thought I would share a bit of info I had picked up.

BTW who ever gave me a bad rep point for asking my question needs to grow up.

I read the thread but I still didnt se what was so wrong with the video. I thought there might have been something on there that shouldnt be said on a public forum. I'm sorry for asking a question, but please grow up and quit with the bad rep points. dang!
