I'm glad I found this thread.
I've actually been working on a myspace type site for strictly small businesses. For example, photographers, web designers, graphic designers, etc... I think it would be a great way to get your name out to people looking for that particular service.
I never even though about snake breeders, but they could also fall into the category.
Basically, it will have the same general idea as myspace. With a profile and general information and friends list and all that fun stuff. But instead of a personal pictures page, it would be a portfolio of past work, or in a snake breeders case, current snakes for sale.
It will have 2 different types of memberships so it doesn't get all congested. It will have a business owner membership and a general purpose membership for individuals to search for whatever they might be looking for.
I will hopefully be launching it within the next week or so. Does this appeal to any of you? If it does, I am open to suggestions.
