Hey everyone! What a nice thing to be missed by such great folks! Thanks to Robin for keeping me up to date by phone and to Jamie for sending me a new operating system so I could repair our computer. We had a sudden and complete hard drive failure and to make the situation worse, somehow in the move we lost our only copy of our own OP (it was a sucky one anyways so no great loss really). Jamie you rock! Thanks so much for jumping right in there to get us back online. Learned my lesson though. I don't back up enough and we lost a lot of very important information including our complete degei snake records files as well as a lot of family stuff. We'll definitely be more careful of that in the future after this experience.
Well anyways, I sure missed my BP Net family and am glad to be back. With so much going on here and the whole family being sick as dogs with a flu bug, Mike and I won't be able to get the time off work to attend NARBC this coming weekend so those of you that are able to go....I WANT PICS! Oh and somebody hug Kara for me please! :) (You can also try to hug Adam but he might run away screaming from that LOL)

Welcome back!! It was no big deal and i am glad it got you up and running again. Invest in an expensive external hard drive to back up all your data. I have 2 of them. One for a backup and one for a backup of the backup. :)

Welcome back Jo! The place was just not the same without you! :carrot: :hug: I'm sorry you lost all the data on your snakes. In addition to what Jamie suggested, do you guys have a DVD burner? I just use that to back up all of my data whenever I see my computer starting to slow down. Saves a lot of headache down the line and is a fairly cheap alternative to external HDs. Anywho, glad to have ya back! :sunny:

I had a harddrive crash last month and the first thing I bought was a DVD burner. Now I backup to DVD anything that I don't already have on a CD/DVD already. Mine only cost $55 from www.tigerdirect.com. You can actually get them cheaper from them as well.
You can also get an external 250gb USB drive for $125. I totally recommend this comany.

Heyyyy! You're here!! One of the first names I noticed on the "who's online" thingy. Glad you have computer again but sorry you lost your data. Fortunately for me I can copy important stuff to myself at work so it's held on the main server.
