I always find it funny when a band who opens up for the headliner is better then the headliner. I saw Arch Enemy with Shadows Fall back in 2002 and Shadows Fall opened up and killed Arch Enemy.

That's how Slayer was; they opened for Slipknot. I like them too, but Slayer is old-school metal; for some reason they beat the pants off most bands IMO.

I forgot to add Hootie and the Blowfish and Everclear to the list. I saw them when they did their tour with the USO show in Japan. I actually met Hootie and the Blowfish when they came through. They visited us while we were searching vehicles coming on base. I had my picture taken with Hootie, but the person who took it had their finger over the lense...BOOOO!!!

    Here's the pic.

I don't consider myself a fan at all, but come on, how many chances do you get to have your pic taken with Hootie?

Hah cool! That's my wife's favorite band (not sure if Opeth is above or below them for her). She's dragged us all to suffer several fests to see them. Cool to know!

I saw Zombie play with Judas Priest and Anthrax last year in L.A. (the only show they did with the two bands). I could have gone this past Saturday in Irvine but I wasn't interested. I am however gonna see KMFDM and Combichrist on the 24th. http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/7474/rockoneo4.gif

    Heck yeah Shaffer! That'sool.

Ok, so I don't know if anybody will know who I'm talking about, but what about Buckethead? He's a phenomenal guitarist, mostly metal. I get to see him live in a few weeks. Goin to see Combichrist and KMFDM in two weeks too. Life is good. :D

Woot! It always makes me happy to hear ppl recognize him. He's so underappreciated. He can freakin shred a guitar, man! I just picked up one of his new EPs called Dreamatorium. It's by Death Cube K which is actually an anagram for Buckethead. It's pretty much creepy minimalist stuff. I highly recommend it for dark, lonely stretches of road at night. :D

Hehehe, yeah this'll actually be my first time seeing KMFDM live. I'm freakin stoked about it. Their latest album is WWIII. I really like it! They have a new female vocalist on it and she suits their sound really well. I highly recommend it.
