Eheim? Isn't that just a cannister filter? You should run a filter and a skimmer on a reef unless you want to go the plenum route. IMO, a sump would be the best way to go with a reef.

PM's are OK. I'd be glad to help you spend your money. LOL.:D

Right, the canister is just for the 110 that will have ciclids.. The saltwater is to rich for my blood, it will have to be alot smaller..lo.. IM cheap man..lol

Yes but they don't harass fish nearly as much as the other types.
They are little pissers though. My occellaris will take bites out of the sponge while cleaning the tank.

Big attitude in a small package. LOL. They are very bold little fish. :D

Yes they are.. spunky little guys. The gold stripe premnas biaculeatus is my favorite I think.

I also think we've hijacked this thread. I don't know anyone offline that is interested in marine animals.. so I guess I just get chatty. lol

    That's OK; lol :)
I don't really know many people offline who are into tanks, period. Most people give me the classic line "oh, I had fish before, but they all died "etc. Don't know a darned thing about cycling, etc.. yipes! At least you people are worth your salt in the fish department (no pun intended lol.)
    Gotta love those fishies!

Since I work at petsmart I've got a few friends there that keep cichlids and some south american tropicals.. there are a few fish lovers there, but not many.
