You Texans have the most wonderful traditions. Somewhere many years down the road...."yes kiddies here's Gramma the night before she married Grampa...drunk on a cow statue!"...awwwwwwwwwwww :D

    LOL
Yeah, she has 3 year old twin boys now, and I have tons of interesting pics from that night! ;)
This particular picture was taken right before we wandered into Juan's Taco House and Cabana Bar for a bite to eat.

I had another herper friend who would watch my animals (and my bugs) for me while I was gone. I don't like leaving my guys alone for more than three days.

The geckos and the inverts (the T's without water dishes, specifically) are on a fairly set watering schedule.

I've really thought about cutting back a bit becuase of this issue.

Unfournately, my herper friend recently moved out of town, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the critters next year. I may have to train a friend or drive them all to another town for a week or two.

I like to have someone come in and look in on everyone. We have never gone away since we got most of our pets; but we plan on going to Fla. for a weekend this fall, so.. I have a trusted friend who's also a herper; I'm giving her the keys just to come in and check on them; not to mention the livestock needs feeding.
Hell, I've never even seen the ocean; farthest I've been is Ohio. But I really love NY and its lands, woodlands, and farms; I see no reason to leave personally. :)
