Oh Daniel, what is the common name of your mountain ratsnake that you want? On my list I have elaphe porphyracea porphyracea and elaphe porphyracea coxi, which are quite similar to the one on your list.

    :P

More like a snake I don't want to have. lol At first I think 'oh this snake isn't all that interesting, I don't really want one of those' then it turns in to 'hey that snake is kind of cool..' then 'oh darn I'll add it to my list I really like that snake!'

Crotalus willardi willardi - Arizona ridge-nosed rattlesnake. Mega-protected!

Aside from that I am very content with my present collection. :)

I have no room currently for any more herps...

My "wish I could have but probably never will" list in no particularly order:
    - lavender or purple phase albino retic (too expensive and too BIG, but OOOH, I wants one! I'm hoping retic breeders can get this coloration going in dwarfs in the next couple of years)
    - copperhead (so freaking cool but I really never want to keep hots)
    - angolan python (out of my "pet price range" but so pretty)
    - piebald bp (*whimper*)

My "can't get one now but someday, oh YES I will"
    - VBB (com'on Matsu, give us babies!)
    - sunglow motley cornsnake
    - rosy boa (undecided on region, but pretty sure I want one from Randy Wright)
    - crestie (not a snake, but it's a rule you know)

And I'm always window shopping BCC, especially Suris...but I'm not sure I want another one.

April, I don't believe that the Oreophis porphyraceus laticinctus has a common name. It is in the same family and very similar in looks, except lines are vertical on snake instead of horizontal, and a little darker in color, however, they are still very rare in captivity. Only a few people have them. As far as my list goes it is as follows:

    No particular order:
    Oreophis porphyraceus vaillanti
    Eyelash Viper
    Hypomelanistic Blackhead Python
Ghost Brazilian Rainbow Boa(It has not been made yet)
    Pygmy Python
