That's cool, but you also spoke about pine ... do you have experience keeping rodents on pine or are you just going off of what you read on the PETA website?

well if you keep changing the story i think you need to be questioned.

if you havent had problems with your rodents on pine then why do you say its toxic, then say its fine, then say its toxic, then switch to talking about cedar?

yes i have tried all the bedding and i have had problems with cedar and minor problems with the pine. I am not speaking of things i have read but since everyone loves to argue with people that are telling the truth on here i figured i'd back up what i was saying but god forbid i try that because everything broke loose and i still got argued with.

i have had mice, gerbils. hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, ferrets, chinchillas, sugargliders, and many other animals that need bedding and not one did i ever stick with pine or cedar. I believe I have enough experience I'd say 10 years was enough..

I don't like confronting people about stuff, but you take the cake. You state everything as fact, because you read it somewhere. Anyone can post a page about caring for mice and state whatever they want as fact. It doesn't mean it's true. Pine is absolutely NOT toxic!!!!! If it is not kiln-dried the oils in the wood can be an irritant, but not TOXIC!!!!! You wonder why everyone argues with you???? Take a step back and realize everything you read on the internet is not alway FACT!!!!!

    here we go again...

don't forget, hot sauce is cruel and unusual punishment, and we don't deserve rats if we use it, because they can't eliminate gas...

I don't have a problem with you telling someone you had problems with it. The first thing you said was it was "toxic", that was bad info. I keep 300 breeder mice and 50 breeder rats on kiln-dried pine (by the way, it was recommended by people on this site) without problems. I can find all kinds of info on the internet also, doesn't mean its true.
