Well according to them they "should" be ok since they were still partially frozen and I think that since they already sent out 1 replacement order they don't want to send out a second one too

It could of just been a coincidence too, snakes eat already dead prey anway. BUT, yeah, it could be the rat you fed off being the sole culprit. One of the reasons I'm so glad I breed my own feeders, but unfortunately for some people you just can't for whatever reason.

    Hope all goes ok!

Thanks, Some snakes eat carion like garters and water snakes but I don't think boas are one of those species that eat carion. Going to pick up my replacemnt order. They said they packed it with extra ice and i said "imagine if you did that with the first order..." lmao Well I guess the pups and the weaned I have already are getting thrown out. We'll have to see when he gets up to smalls in a few more months.
I'm starting to breed my own rats when we get into our new house in sept. Since the reptile room will be vented directally outside, smell shouldn't be too much of a problem

That is the bottom line. We all work hard for our cash and you "Should" expect to get what you paid for and expect good quality!

I havent fully unpacked it yet either....I think they left the ice out last time. There is usually brown paper that the ice is wrapped in and the last order didn't have it. This order does....Hmmm. I wonder why they told me the last order had 20 lbs of it

Glad you got it sorted, Jake. Like Courtney, I the bulk of my herp order is locusts so I get that delivered, but the rodents I like to buy myself from my local reptile shop. I guess if anyone has multiple monitors it wouldn't work out so well though.

My hognose had a regurge about a month ago - but that was due to her going into shed.
