Wow! That must have been incredibly impressive! What an experience... Ravens are hilarious and so clever! I would never want one of my own, of course, it's bad enough with the cat and rabbits outwitting me, I don't need a critter as smart as a raven making me crazy!

I saw this one program where a bird rescue had a bonded adult raven who'd fly alongside the car or sit on a seat in the car with them and so on... the car was an old thing that took a long time to start up, and he made them crazy by turning the key and thus shutting the car off when they got out to open the gate on the outskirts of the rescue. He'd always hop back up and leave the keys in the ignition too and return to his perch, it took them a while to figure out it was him turning it off!

They really are an amazing bird. When we lived in the Canadian Yukon I was completely amazed at the size some of the ravens up there got. I swear they needed to file a flight plan to land! I grew up around blackbirds and crows and was floored at the sheer size of the ravens in the Canadian north! Up there you couldn't leave dog food outside or give your dog a bone outside as the ravens would come harrass and peck at the poor dogs (course if you're stupid enough to leave food outside anyway when you live in Grizzly country....well....)

Awwh! It's a shame really that they don't stay babies longer! So cute and bitty and fuzzy!

And man, I've never seen a raven in person, Jo, but I can imagine! :O

Well, Cotton will stay fuzzy cause he's a lionhead....well at least around his head...I've read that some lionheads stay really fuzzy!

I've seen some crazy fuzzy adult lionheads! SO cute. :) My Bowie has a subtle little mohawk hairdo going on between his ears but nothing like those lionheads have going on!

LOL...The way Cotton's "hair" is, sometimes I just wanna mouse it a little cause it'd make the perfect mohawk!!! I love Bowie's colors too! What is that color called...the soft grayish tan color? Such a unique one too with those eyes....

I forget if the rescue we got him from called his coloring lavender and white or lilac and white... I think it's lavender, kind of like a lavender corn. ;) He was perfect... an oddball, a sweetheart, already neutered, and Daphne loved him. Meant to be, just like Unut!

Every time I look at Lucky I fall over at the cuteness tho, lol! Those ears almost lost in the fluff... !
