Abosolutely breathtaking!! How big are these beauties expected to get? Are they full-sized retics? Or do they have some dwarfing in their lineage?

The belly is dark gray in color...sort of like a deep, slate gray.

Judy, I'm not sure how big this particular snake may get, but our original WC Golden Child male is only about 9' long, and his two-year-old offspring which have been fed out the yin-yang have all hit the wall at 10'. They're getting thicker, but not any longer...or if they are it's only by small increments at a time.

We have the parents. The original Golden Child is a WC male that we acquired in November 2003. We produced his first kiddos from a calico female in May 04, and approximately half of the clutch were "Golden Children," so he's at least dominant/inc. dominant. Since it takes 3 years to raise a female retic to maturity, it's too soon to know whether or not there's a super form. Anyway, his male offspring from that first clutch bred some different females for us this season, and their kids have been hatching over hte course of the past month or so. Thus far we've produced Golden Child Tigers, black-eyed Golden Children, and these weird black GC's as well. The black ones came specifically from calico females, so we're not sure if the GC gene is reacting with the calico somehow. We have a lot of work to do to figure out what's going on there.

And many, many thanks for all the kind words!!!! :D

What?! I'd say that was about as super as you could get, unless the homo form could fly our something. :) BTW, how can I get put on the list for offspring? Do you take kidneys or first born? (Heck, I'll even throw in a second born. Little booger has been misbehaving lately.) :P
