I emailed them to inquire about it with a few simple questions, they replied within 10 minutes that it had been sold. Then again you're right, who knows!

Maybe someone having $13K to burn and interest in BP's would jump at it thinking they're getting a great deal.

Why is this case different? Of course I personally don't have that kind of money to speculate with, but if I did...I would consider it. (Of course, that consideration would involve a LOT of research into and discussion with the person selling to make sure they are legit.)

Everything except for the designer morphs (those being morphs that are not naturally occuring in the wild).

I don't see how buying a 13K snake and having no idea what produced it or what it will produce is a good deal. I'm just wierd like that. :rolleye2:

Snake breeding in general is a gamble. I guess these people aren't worried about such a BIG gamble. O_O

No, even those trace their ancestry back to the original imported stock as well....just in more than one line. ;)

Especially a BEL which still confuses the heck out of me when I've seen all that is listed that can supposedly produce it.

Breeding that to a normal could produce one of? how many different snakes for all we know.

Isn't that what most do when they import a new morph for $10K-$20K-$30K?
I don't think RDR or Bob knows what produced "X" morph when some guy pulls it out of a hole.

Totally different ... that BEL was produced by "something" in Africa ... we don't/won't know if it was lessers, mojaves, or something almost normal looking like Vin Russos lemons ... If I was shelling out 13K on a lucy I would be ticked if it didn't produce lessers .... that 13K could have been put towards a lesser project and I could have the real deal. ;)
