Smokin Pastel Brad!

It could be a pastel sibling.I have seen a few sibs that just missed getting the gene and they looked very nice also.Like everyone is telling you though you have some nice looking normal ball pythons.

Thank you everyone. Would it be right for me to sell him at higher price since his colors are so nice and is a hgih gold? If he is just a normal I really dont want him because I could use a pastel instead of him. Thanks for the help

Not really....I bought my high gold male for $30 and have seen them at shows being sold as high golds for as low as $25.

But if you were to see him in person you would probably think that he is a gorgeous male. I think I am going to sell him so I can get some money to either get a pastel male or help pay off my pair of '05 het yellow blush albinos. Anyone want him?

Seriously though - he's a beautiful normal male. I don't think that you could get much for him - since he's just that - a normal. Doesn't make him any less special for you.

Kashmire was my first ball python - he'll never be in my breeding plans (at least not if you ask me today - who knows what I might dink with later). But Kashmire will always have a home with me - because he's that special to me.

Also Sullivan (who is my avatar) is a normal male. He has insane blushing - but he's "just" a normal. But he's special to me - and if I could re-produce his blushing - that would be awesome!

If you love him as much as I think you do from your comment that I quoted - you don't have to get rid of him.

If your only reason for selling him is to raise money for a pastel - his sell price would only be a small percentage of what you'd pay for a pastel, not enough to really even make a dent. Sorry!

I guess what I was trying to say - but didn't do very well - was - I don't have a need for either one of my normal males. However - they are both very special to me, and I plan to keep them. And I honestly - if you asked me today - would not trade them for anything. Not because of any monetary value on them, but because they are that special to ME.

So, if you have the space, and YOU like him - why sell him? You might be able to get $50-$100 for him at best.

My point from my quoting you was it sounded like he was really special to you - not just because you thought he was a pastel.

Yeah he is special to me but i will keep him unless someone wants him.
