Just thinking out loud, but that can't be right .... He's looking for $200K for just the base business & $250K for the base business with the 06 offspring ... I would also imagine that there is some wiggle in there as any smart business person would provide for ... Even if it was a fire sale, discounting 06 sales by $250K (or 500%) is a little insane.

A valuation of 3 - 4x's gross rev is pretty standard when selling a business so at $200K for all of the live stock, equipment, etc and $50K for the 06 gross, those number just fall into place.

BTW - this is not in any way a knock or commentary on Andre or ASF ... just general and totally random thoughts on business valuation. :D

Based on his 03's, 04's and 05's he's done pretty well each year. Not sure why he wants out or what it's worth to him, but to each his own.

ssscales, let us know what he says. I wasn't trying to discredit his character at all, he does have some great looking animals...I was just wondering why he would want to get out the the market if he is doing so well.
