i've emailed henry to ask him (the breeder) - that's who i purchased dexter from (my ball) last year... i'll let you know what he says. :)

If you are talking about that one listed on Henry's site, it is a differently marked rtb. Its markings may or may not be genetic.

There aren't to many snakes that only grow to 3', even Children's pythons will get a bit longer than that. Male boas can stay a very manageable size, depending on how much you feed them and to some degree their genetics. You can keep a male under 6 feet pretty much his whole life. This sounds bigger than it really is, a 6 foot boa is very easy to handle even for a child. I have an albino male that is 4 years old now and is only 4.5 feet long and lives in a 2.5 x 2 foot cage. Hog island boas are a smaller race of boa and only grow to about 5 feet for males, usually a bit less.

Another snake to consider in your future is a Vietnamese Blue Beauty...cuz a little birdy told me we might know someone who's gonna breed them next year. =)
