Crested Cage in Progress (DU DEATH)

hey with a humid hide doesn't it need to be hot to make humidity? otherwise it's just cold and wet.....i will use bedabeast, i may put moss ontop of that i dont know yet lol...i think my cage will be ok, only thing is to keep it warm at night ( will use a party bulb at like 15w) and cool in the day, misting or a drip system should keep it nice and cool.

it doesn't have to be hot to be humid--the moss or other moist substrate enclose in the container will create plenty of humidity. since cresteds don't require special heating like leos or bps it is ok if it is a little cooler in the hide.

what night and daytime temperatures does your house have? cresteds are fine in a pretty large range of temps so you shouldn't have to worry about it too much unless your house experiences some pretty extreme temperatures...

How do you like the reptarium. I am looking for some new housing for my cresties. Is the door very easy to close and open.

well it's a zipper it's very easy to open lol, i was going to build a screen door for a 20g tank and throw it on it's side, well it's nighttime here and it's 77.7 degrees during the day it might get warmer i dont know i am not here on the weekends :( got final adjustings to do by monday because he should ship by wednesday :D

as long as it doesn't get over 82-83 for extended periods of time it should be fine. it can cool to 65 or so during the night and be fine as well as long as it does warm up some during the day.

well i'm sure the 2x day misting will fix that issue, may have it 4x a day, when my gf wakes up, when i wake up, when she gets home and when i get home
that's about 9am, 12pm, 3-4pm, and midnight lol that'll probably cool the whole thing down just fine :D
