Most do yes. However applying for a CITES is a tad costly. I've been looking into this and believe me it doesn't seem like it's going to be very easy. Plus you have to consider that most breeders also charge a CITES fee.

The CITES fee that breeders charge is for the permit ... it's really not that bad. I charge no additional fees for international shipping other than the cost of the permit, inspections, and shipping.

International air cargo is the most expensive part.

Well as I said I'm still looking into it. I do not claim to know much at all yet. lol
But I would be bringing into the States not sending things out I haven't looked into that aspect. I've heard that AC runs from $500-$1500, I'm sure more in some cases.

Ireland has extra requirements for someone to import a snake even from the UK. They will let you own a snake or ship a snake with in the island, but if you want to bring one in from the outside so to speak, you end up having to go thru a petshop and then get charged too much. So the ferry across the pond with the snake in a muslin bag and well hidden on your person works......lol But I am happy doing my rescue work and having my normals.....lol

Back into topic I have another question. The friend I'm working this project on has found another pair of 50% het Lavender Albino females, the breeder is asking $2,000 for the pair. They have good references and we've checked them out. My friend says we have enough to start with, I say we get them and I'm planning going through with the purchase. What do you think? I say it's two more possibilities of SOMEONE proving out.
