Excuse me but that silly Satan person you speak of has NUTHIN on my homemade peanut butter cookies that just scream out for a tall icey cold glass of milk to dunk em in or perhaps a melt in your mouth chocolate macadamia nut cookie is more to your liking LOL. (*whispers* come to the dark side....we not only have cookies....we have a killer recipe for tortellini carbonara :hungry: )

Holy crap. I thought you were going to start sending me food? It'll prepare you to ship snakes in the future :) .

Grounded = 3 prong plug, 3 prong outlet
Standard = 2 prong plug, 2 prong outlet
If your heat source (heat tape, heat rope, CHE, RHP, etc) is wired as a grounded (3 prong) heating device, then your need the DBS-1000G ... If your heat source (heat tape, heat rope, CHE, RHP, etc) is not wired as a grounded (2 prong) heating device, then the standard DBS-1000 is fine.
Since Helix started making the grounded units, that's all I buy ... gives the most flexibility ... I'm slowly replacing all of my old units with groundeds as well.

Do you have any heat sources that are grounded?

Thanks Adam - that was sort of my train of thought. If I had anything that was a 3 prong plug in the future, I'd be in a quandry, and a 2 prong can plug into either. I think I made the right choice! ;)

I've had great experiences with The Bean Farm for Helix as well as other products. The service is friendly while still being professional and the shipments always arrive on time and correct. In fact, I just received a DBS1000 five minutes ago from them. Helix is a great product and comes with excellent reviews. No disapointments. Chris
