    They are both beautiful :)

Oh and is that sand you are using as substrate? If it is, sand won't be able to hold the proper humidity. I'd switch to something like aspen, newspaper, or repti-bark.

That, and sand will get underneath their scales and irritate the crap out of your snake. Diseases anyone knows of, please enlighten us :)

I've never heard of sand irritating their scales, but you sure don't want your BP eating it. Humidity is pretty non-existent with sand too.

It irritates their skin UNDER their scales if it gets stuck under there. :)

You should really consider what someone said about the plastic enclosures since you say you want to have more snakes. Glass tanks can be hard to heat and keeping humidity up can be a challenge too if you use lights. Also glass tanks can be really expensive and so can all those things they sell you at pet stores like lights and under tank heaters. I've been using glass tanks for a while and I'm switching to the plastic as soon as my rack is delivered. I can't wait.

You know, everyone says housing snakes together is stressful, and i agree with it 100% they are solitary (although garters are not always in piles not just during winter or mating i always see adults sort of in packs) but look at them, they do not look stressed to me lol, look actuallly like they like each other's company curled together , i mean a picture is worth a thousand words you know.
