Hippo toe fajitas and tapir salad? MMM MM Good! ;)

Its funny what some of us find no longer gross or upsetting after owning herps, we find interesting...

The video was something else, wish I could understand spanish enough to really understand what was being said. Although I have never seen a regurg happen, and have been a bit curious about the "anatomy" of how a regurg is done, this has satisfied my morbid curiosity. But I would not want to have to be the one cleaning that regurg up, its HUGE and regurg smells aweful, sticks in your nose for a day or so after the fact, and it is a smell you will never ever forget. I do feel bad for the snake though, poor thing. All it wanted was to eat and be left alone.

The original post said "Rock Python" so I didn't look at the snake all that closely. Tapir actually popped into my mind when trying to figure out what that prey was, but seeing as how I had the whole African/South American locale all wrong......LOL

Now I'll have to redo all my hippo-toe recipes! :neener:

    Ok that was gross!
and all I can say is OMG how the heck can they eat stuff so friggin big!
From what I can pick up it appears they are trying to see what it has eaten
ie looking for loss livestock I didn't pick up they were looking for something human but my spanish/ portugese aren't that good.
I actually can't tell which it is but if it is from Brazil then it should be portugese since that is the lanaguage there.
My framing carpenters are all from Brazil maybe I can show them and they can give us the lowdown on what they are saying :)

Yea, I couldn't pick too much up with my spanish either (and I'm a fluent speaker). Looking at the bright side, at least they didn't just cut it open. =/

well, Im mexican, so spanish is my native language, it is portuguese though, and both languages are pretty much alike so what I could get from the video was, that thats a giant snake 6 meters, found in san paulo brazil, that it cant "something" because of the volume of its body, (this next thing gets me pretty mad) it says that it its trying to defend itself because it feels threatened,(I would feel threatend too if lots of people where watching me and poking me with a stick!!) "something" the big load its carrying, notice how naturaly this animal..... "something". thats all I can get from the video.

PS, Impressive load, I tought it was a HIPPO at first glance.
