Ssscales, nice setup! Is that an incubator on top of your melamine cages?

Thanks everyone, we really love our Boaphile cages. We'll take some new pics when we upgrade everything to Boaphile and rebuild the racks for the expected babies between April-June. Most our melamine racks come apart each year as we empty them out and as they are needed are put back together.

Thanks, that was an old plastic cage we used to quarantine new snakes in another room or when we just needed a spare cage. The blue igloo cooler in front of the melamine cages in the last pic was used as a incubator for a clutch of JCP eggs last year. Simple and cheap, it was put together with left over flexwatt, a couple water bottles, some eggcrate, 12qt tub and a Helix thermostat...worked great!

I'm pretty lucky, my ambient temps have never gotten above 84F, even when it's 95F outside, my garage stays in the low 80's. My garage is shaded all day by a large tree which keeps it pretty cool during the scorching FL heat!

Last night our temps dropped in the high 50's and are supposed to go down into the 40's this weekend!! This is my biggest problem during the winter months here in FL. Temps could be in the mid 80's one day, low 40's the next day and back up to 80's! I've never had to cool my garage believe it or not, but I do have a space heater to keep the ambient temps in the high 70's / low 80's during the colder nights.

I try not to complain, it's a whole lot better than 3ft of snow and freezing temps for months at a time.:D
