a cb70 is fine plenty of room for the big girls. a cb 110 is a waste of money if you ask me because they dont need a tub that big

Maybe these pics can help you visualize it a bit better. These are Sterlite tubs from WalMart (sorry I can't remember the model #) but are 39 long x 19 wide x 6.5 deep (cost me all of $12.00 LOL). We use these for all our bigger snakes. Malachi, our only smaller snake, is in a sterlite that is 25 long x 18 wide x 6.5 deep (set up is the same except smaller hides of course).

The first is of Brannagh, our largest female at 48.8 inches long and just over 1,800 grams in weight in her tub with the top off so you can see it set up clearly. The black things are her hides which are actually big heavy rubber dog dishes with entrance holes cut out. Brannagh loves her tub except is growing out of her hides a bit lately LOL.

This is Orlah, our second biggest female at 44.2 inches and around 1,500 grams. As you can see even with the lid on she is having a nice time resting her head on the lid of her hide. She just ate and quite likes this position until she's ready to head for a hide.

The smaller females often climb right up on the flat "roofs" of their hides and fit quite well under the lid.

For display purposes these sterlites aren't the thing, but for space and breeding purposes as well as ease of husbandry for multiple snakes you just can't beat them (or similar tubs). These are a bit bigger than the CB-70 Iris tubs though likely not as well constructed. They are opaque which seems to help these shy snakes feel safe when they exit their hides.

Hope these pics helped a bit.

Oh no problem, Aleesha...I know it used to confuse me with tub dimensions and so forth so I figured why not snap a couple of pics to make it clearer. Besides I'm a bit snap happy right now with a borrowed digital cam (my family, my snakes and my rats all truly hate me right about now!) LOL

Those look quite familiar. The size and looks are exact to the tubs I use. Sterilite 1995's. I get mine at Walmart too, only I pay around 18 dollars for mine. :(

Cody do yours have the big lid that bends in the middle so you can open either end of the tub w/o fully removing the lid? That's the kind I have and they are always $11.99 at my local WalMart. Love that as I don't have to take a huge lid off everytime I change water or whatever but the downside is that middle area is not rigid so you have to add extra things to keep it tight to the tub or bye bye snake. Also unlike the Iris tubs these tubs do have ridges and such (especially where the wheels are) so cleaning is a slight bit harder. For little old OCD me though it's no biggie LOL.

We love these tubs so much my father-in-law is going to try to design a custom rack around them for us as they are such an odd size we can't find anything they will fit into properly.
