    That's so crazy, I can't imagine that there was no selective pressure for that "nose", can anyone confirm the flexibility/rigidity of it at hatch?

    Maybe it is similar to the tentacle snake and has a mechanosensory function

    Variable bush viper, stiletto snake, any of those snakes that have adapted to fly/glide are pretty darn different from the typical serpent.

    So maybe it's like a caudal lure, only on the other end of the snake...to help attract prey right into their mouth!? :D

    :rolleye2: It wasn't very clear, lol. I was pretty sure that the Rhinos don't eat mambas, but didn't feel like taking up the charge...
