I thought the recent Willard movie was pretty bad.

I guess I need to read the shining. I've read a lot of other King books, but not that one..

The books don't really scare me either, but they're fun anyway.

Do. It's the only one by him i found appreciably scary at all. That and the Amityville Horror (book by Jay Ansen I think - the movies were silly).

Once I see a copy at the used book store, I'll pick it up. I don't have it yet, it turns out. (and why pay $5 or more for it when I can get it for 50 cents?)

Dont have any movies that have ever scared me, but one of my favorite "scary movies" is My Bloody Valentine. You know...one of those good ole 70's scary movies...

Amityville Horror, the first one. Admit it, it was at least shocking, if not really scary. The pig face in the window.. had me scared to look out windows for weeks after.
The Shining.. too traumatic to even think about, lol. The old lady in the tub...

But now, nothing really shocks me, being that I am older. I will sit and eat pizza while watching morbid-obesity surgery.

Yeah the rotting lady in the tub was pretty bad.

Surgery shows are kind of icky sometimes, but they're interesting too..

Anybody ever see the documentary about the body farm? Urgh.. that was simply nauseating, but morbidly facinating.
