    Yeah I have a total 1600l... I do weekly 80% waterchanges, got it down to about 2.5hrs a week now but yes it's a commitment.
    Still not as hard as the dogs:-)

    Man, how many/big of fish are in there that you do 80% water changes? That seems like a lot at a time.

    Not that many I've cut right back for a stock change.
    Going lone Channa Diplogramma and wyckii cat in the 1100.
    but considering most rivers are less than 1ppm nitrate it's the least you can do.
    Comes outta the tap at 30ppm in most built up areas in the UK.
    Take into account nitrate creep too.
    I'm 8k posts on monster fish keepers forum, it's all about fin level changes if your serious. The fish pay you back with amazing growth and colours.
    I have many videos (90ish) on YouTube and 800 subs, names "Justin mfk" if anyone's interested.
    Snakes are so much easier, less active tho.
