LOL!!! No, I only eat infertile eggs. I know because I read on social media that no roosters are pleasured in the making of eggs for human consumption. :taz::oops::P

Do snakes actually eat those? Or are they for another critter?

They come in handy for some species of snakes that have a difficult time being transitioned to whole rodents, but can be pricey and not as useful for species that normally eat rodents in the wild.
For example, eastern hognose snakes are notoriously difficult to transition to rodents and these can be a big help for some to keep them eating before they take rodents. Most people can't get whole toads/lizards/whatever their native prey is very easily or at least not in sizes appropriate for babies, so these links are just small "sausages" of those different prey types.
Some individual snakes will simply not eat them due to the odd non-prey shape, but in many cases if it smells like their natural prey they will give it a try.
