I'm not a fan of sand boas, personally. I've never been interested, so never kept one. I have handled a few, they're kinda fun to handle. Just not a snake for me.

Funny enough I ended up having the same reaction to sand boas. Got a chance to handle a few at Repticon yesterday and realized I was very "meh" with them. Definitely didn't fall in love like I have with other species. Hognoses on the other hand I adored! I can only imagine how awesome and fun it is to watch Cosmo's personality blossom!

It certainly is fun watching him grow. He's hitting a little growth spurt right now and seems a bit more confident in himself. Although he's always thought he's a big, tough, scary monster.

He's a cute "big, tough, scary, monster!"

He looks really nice and it sounds like you are doing a great job with him.

Good luck and I hope he keeps eating for you. I guess Hognose are the BP of colubrids, huh?

    Thank you!

And yeah, the BP of colubrids is a good analogy. Hahaha. He's definitely not the garbage disposal Django is, or any other Kings or corns I've kept. He went from mid March to early June, so not too bad. Django was happy to get a tiny, fuzzy "treat" every 10-14 days though.
