I really do appreciate all the compliments and praise. I'm glad just like everybody else that I was able to stop him. I would do it again in a heart beat, because we all work hard for our money, and this hobby is hard enough with all the negativity it receives from the media. In this community we're all like a family, we have to look out for each other and for our hobby. What I did was the human thing to do, and I'm sure all of you would of done the same thing. I'll try to keep everybody updated on any changes or new developments as I find out.

One piece of advice I've been giving to people lately is to make sure you do ample research when purchasing an animal from somebody. If they're not a well known business or a well known person in the hobby, either as a buyer or seller I ask for a photo of their drivers license. I tell them it's fine to black out the information, the only thing I want to see is the whole photo of the license so I know it's an actual license. Then I want to see the full name and the address. This way if a scam or something happens I can file a report and the police have the address from the license.

That story read like a good book!!!
...and the hero in this story is one of our own well- respected members!!!

    Awesome work, man!!!!

The snake community (as well as paintball and electronics) and the general population thank you. Who knows how many more people he'd have scammed had you not been so diligent.

Just an update, he bonded out. But he made a few mistakes by threatening a few people, even though he is only talking. That doesn't matter. Also he stole credit card information from the people he was staying with that were friends.

So with that being said, I've involved the FBI.
